How do Electrical Bunsen Burners Work?

how-to-img1 how-to-img2

LABAIDSĀ® Electric Bunsen burners, manufactured by Divine International Techcraft, New Delhi, India are flameless and work without gas. These are ideal for rooms that do not have a gas supply. These are also suitable for locations and applications in which no open flames are allowed. You may now discard your traditional gas Bunsen burners and spirit lamps because these electric bunsens are much safer to use.

Electrical Bunsen Burners have a high temperature heat source designed for general purpose laboratory use. These are suitable for the non-contact radiant heating of materials in test tubes, crucibles, small flasks and beakers. Each Bunsen radiant heater bowl is constructed within a robust, corrosion resistant cylindrical stainless steel + mild steel housing. A full stainless-steel model is also available.

The replaceable heater assembly consists of a coiled resistance heater. This in turn is formed around the outer surface of a ceramic bowl. The heater assembly is then mounted in the top of the Bunsen's cylindrical housing. A detachable cowl (top lid) is supplied with the Bunsen to deflect heat from the medium surface when hand holding the Bunsen. To regulate the power input and temperature of the Bunsen burner, a heating controller is provided. Just Rotate the energy regulator knob to increase power to the Bunsen. This will increase the operating temp. The maximum temperature can go up to 800 Degrees Centigrade.

Clamps &Stands to hold the flasks etc. are not part of the standard accessories. They are supplied separately. These devices operate at 220V AC, 50Hz mains supply. These can also be made to work on 110V AC, 60Hz main supply.
